Hello, I am a new web designer and i need some software to support some open source cms and an open sorce program called buddypress (google it if you dont know what buddy press is). I would prefer the software to be free, but any would do as long as it works. I have tried Dreamweaver 8 but no luck with it, would not work for me. My operating system is xp. The open source cms is called drupal.
Ok, so I have a microphone and it came with pro tools m-powered essential software and it is so confusing and frustrating! I want to download a free software that is easy to work with. I want to sing on my microphone, and want it to record on the software, so I can put it on youtube. Any suggestions at all??? Please help!

I want to be a software engineer and I’ve been looking at colleges and some colleges have Software Engineer and some have software engineer and computer science. So if I got a major in computer science, would I be able to be a software engineer?
I have a video 8 video camera TRV330 and a HDD(hard drive Sony) video camera. The HDD came with a software but I seem to misplace it. What kind of software do I need to edit the video from these two cameras to burn the videos to a dvd. I think I might have a copy of Sony vegas although I dont know how to use it or if it will work.

I installed software on my laptop, and the BOOT.INI file was corrupted. It would not boot up. What is the best software package to recover my laptop to the way it was before I installed the software? Price does not matter, I just want it to work, and that someone that does not know a lot about computers can run it.

I want to get into programming. I attempted C++ before, that was nearly impossible, so I was told to start with something more basic. What is a good language to learn for beginners? I’ve done HTML before, but that’s really they only kind that I’ve done, but HTML isn’t even really programming.
