What is the best programming language to start with Ruby or Python?



I am trying to learn an easy programming language to get the basics and then I would like to move on with AS3. I tried AS3 but it is not for newbies. At least for me. Now AS3 is totally OOP so I was told Ruby will teach me that but then I read that Python is more appropriate. Any inputs will be really appreciated. Thanks.

    I started with Python, and it worked great for me. Learn Ruby after you have at least a little experience with Python or something else simple like Visual Basic.

    I love ruby i would recommend ruby its great for learning
